Maryann Hirsch is the President of Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG) – the government’s trusted advisor.
As President, Maryann is responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost, and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. In this role, Maryann directs company operations to meet budget and other financial goals; directs short-term and long-range planning efforts to support strategic business goals established by the CEO; establishes the performance goals, allocates resources, and assesses policies for senior management; and coordinates and participates in other growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
She has over 23 years of experience in the government Information Technology (IT) market with a proven track record of success in creating new corporate opportunities through strategic business development, marketing, and capture management activities; leading exceptional service delivery programs; and providing sound counsel for corporate finance and administration.
Maryann joined KCG from Federal Sources, Inc., the leading market research firm focused on the public sector IT market, where she served as Senior Vice President for Consulting and was responsible for division revenue growth, profitability, and operational aspects of the consulting practice. In this capacity, she supported customers in the areas of procurement marketing strategies, acquisition support, competitive analysis, and organizational analysis; as well as positioning new solution offerings within the public sector IT market.
Prior to joining Federal Sources, Maryann was Senior Manager for Business Acquisition at Sysorex Information Systems, Inc. In this capacity, she was responsible for new federal marketing efforts to include identifying and qualifying opportunities, formulating bid strategies, key vendor selection and negotiations, and teaming and pricing strategies. Brought on board to significantly expand the growth of the business, Maryann was part of a new management team at Sysorex. Within three years, Maryann's team increased revenue by over 75 percent from $22 million to $100 million.
Maryann is a graduate of Mary Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She serves on the boards of George Mason University's Volgenau School of Engineering and Northern Virginia Family Service.
