Tom Sanders has been named as the company’s new vice president of business development and Dirk Hamilton as vice president of technology. Tom Sanders joins KCG with more than 25 years of extensive experience in strategic partnerships, sales management, and business development within the public sector IT market. As vice president of business development, Sanders is responsible for identifying and developing strategic relationships with high-value partners as well as cultivating and developing new business leads. Sanders’ professional experience includes general management and business development positions with PlanetGov.com, Federal Sources, Dyncorp, Ogden/ERC (now Anteon), and Informix. As vice president of technology, Hamilton is responsible for overall account management and providing thought leadership on technology, technology partners, and technology positioning. Hamilton brings over 12 years of expertise in systems integration, network management, and project leadership. His experience includes infrastructure architecture and design with technologies including Sun Enterprise Servers, EMC, Veritas Cluster Server and Oracle DB. Prior to joining KCG, Hamilton was an independent consultant working for SAIC on a NASA project. Before working as an independent consultant, he worked at BIS, CIBER and at MediaCenters, Inc.
