Chris Oglesby to Help Expand KCG's Federal Market Footprint
Reston, VA – June 6, 2011 – Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG), a leading provider of cybersecurity services to the government and a provider of business advisory services to the government market, today announced the appointment of Christopher S. Oglesby as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this position, Oglesby will spearhead KCG’s marketing, business development, and sales activities, expanding the company’s role as a trusted advisor to government in protecting information assets and networks via a breadth and depth of cybersecurity services. Additionally, he will be responsible for building KCG’s business advisory services practice – a portfolio of services designed to help organizations in the government market achieve optimal results through effective organizational change and business transformation.

Oglesby previously served as Chief Business Developer Officer for Policy Studies, Inc (PSI), where he was responsible for all business development and sales activities, which included managing strategy, market planning, reporting, research and analysis, proposal development, branding, communications, and government affairs. Prior to joining PSI, he served as Managing Partner of a private consulting firm providing strategy management and sales consulting services to a diverse client base. He also previously held multiple leadership positions with EDS, an HP company, to include Vice President of Government Health and Human Services Sales and Vice President of Homeland Security Sales, as well as a successful track record as a client sales executive focused on the homeland security, defense, and civilian marketplaces.
