Vice President, Defense and Intelligence Programs
J.G. Meyer serves as Vice President, Defense and Intelligence Programs for Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG). In this capacity, he is responsible for management and operations of all aspects of KCG's strategic programs within the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and federal civilian agencies. J.G. brings to KCG over 18 years of proven leadership and accomplishments as a senior business leader in corproate operations, program management, business development and marketing.
J.G. started his career in a business development role for 3M and has lead business units for Lucent Technologies and several other small businesses focused on delivering IT services to the federal government. He has held management positions wtih several Fortune 100 companies primarily focused in the IT services arena, where he has been responsible for developing and implementing strategic programs, team building, managing large budgets and maximizing drive, profitability and revenue growth while optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring client success. In addition, he has led several program management and effective communications workshops and has been a Guest Lecturerat the Auburn University School of Engineering.
J.G. received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
