Senior Vice President, Business Development

Deborah Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development for Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG).  In this role, she is responsible for leading key business development activities growing KCG’s business into new commercial and government markets in the federal civilian and healthcare space, as well as the Intelligence Community.   

Deborah brings to KCG more than 22 years of experience as a business development executive, with specific expertise in telecommunications, IT services and emerging markets, including cloud computing and cyber services. She spent the last 10 years focusing on market analysis, IT solutions, division management and strategic acquisitions to ensure continuous offering and revenue expansion. Additionally, she provides KCG with key expertise in gap analysis, strategic positioning, converged services, secure networks and cyber solutions for commercial and government markets.  

Prior to joining KCG, Deborah served as Client Advocacy Executive for Harris Cyber Integrated Solutions, where her role involved development of a strategic plan, two strategic acquisitions and development of a cloud-based service offering. Deborah held other key positions at Harris to include Director of Corporate Development for Intel and Civil and Director for Business Development for Harris IT Services.  She previously held executive-level sales positions at EDS, Level 3 Communications and Clarent Corporation.  

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
